Créé en 1794, le CNAM est un grand établissement public de l’État, à caractère scientifique, culturel et professionnel. Placé sous la tutelle du ministère chargé de l’enseignement supérieur, de la recherche et de l’innovation, il remplit trois missions fondamentales : La formation tout au long de la vie, la recherche technologique et l’innovation, la diffusion de la culture scientifique et technique. Le CNAM en Grand Est, né en 2017 de la fusion des Centres Cnam en Alsace, Champagne-Ardenne et Lorraine, est un opérateur régional de premier plan de la formation professionnelle supérieure et du développement économique des territoires. Implanté dans 18 centres dans la région, il compte 130 collaborateurs et plus de 1000 chargés d’enseignement qui proposent plus de 100 parcours complets de formations scientifiques, techniques et tertiaires.
